The Brooklyn Bridge. A landmark of New York. The walk from Manhattan, carefully avoiding the cyclists who whistle anyone who strays into their lane, is nothing special, until you turn around. The view of Manhattan is spectacular, not to mention world famous.

So of course we had to stay until nightfall to see that view. Fortunately the only cafe near the bridge didn't have a dress code until after 6pm.
