Before I left Japan, Jayne gave me some sake and some snacks, as well as some proper sake cups and jug. When I left Thailand I bought some Mekong whiskey, which is nearly lethal and only drinkable if mixed with coke, but is dirt cheap, and is thus favoured by backpackers. Put these together and we have a UBS apero.

Roli and Cello.

Roli, Nick and Cello.

Roli and Cello model the sake cups. Close observers may notice that Cello's shirt shows signs of ironing whereas Roli's does not. However Cello is believed to subcontract his ironing and so is perhaps more to be censured than praised.

They are joined by Nick, who alas would have to do his own ironing.

Cello and Chris.

Chris also is a non-ironer, but has a fetching line in communist T-shirts.

Robert, Roli, Cello, Roli, Wolfgang and Nick.

Finally we have almost the entire team Trümpler, partaking in the very fine sake or the not so very fine whiskey.
